Collection: Structures

This section includes models of structures suitable for model railroad layouts, available in various scales. Some of the items are pre-built and all you have to do is place them on your layout. Some are kits which you will have to put together. Many of these are plastic. The better ones are called craftsman's kits usually made of thin laser cut wood parts which when assembled and painted properly look more realistic than plastic. You may want to consider weathering some of these models so they look even more realistic. 

Scratchbuilding, creating a model from raw materials, is another option requiring more expertise. Consider reading the articles about model railroad structures in the bymrr.com website.
