N Scale

N scale is approximately 1/2 the size of HO and is 1/160th the size of the real thing. This is a popular size but not as popular as HO scale. The advantage of modeling in N scale is that you can create a larger empire in a smaller space. The disadvantage is that people with bigger hands and/or visual impairment may have a more difficult time working with this scale. Precision track laying is required to avoid derailments.
